The Please Leave a Message exhibition is brought to you by the Free Writing Society; we have been writing together for over a year. Together, we have found a space not only to write without pressure but also to build a community by sharing our words. Through this exhibition, we hope to share some of that space with you.

A book cover with a blue background featuring the text: *Please Leave a Message, Phone Book, Creating Space with Writing, 2025 Glasgow, Digital Blog Version*. The O in "Phone" and "Book" are merged into an illustration of a phone speaker.

This is the online version of the Please Leave a Message Exhibition. It contains similar content to the Phonebook in the Exhibition as well as all the Writing Guides and Audio Recordings.

Submit Your own Text

This exhibition invites you to explore poems and stories shared by the Free Writing Society and other visitors. It’s a space for both reflection and expression—where you can read, listen, and contribute your own voice. By sharing your writing, we can create and nurture a community built on the power of storytelling and shared thoughts.

Please refer to the Guides for detailed guidelines and helpful tips on writing and submitting your work.
